Yo de leh yee hoo!!

Day 5 - 11th October 2006

Today was a day for resting and recharging our batteries at the farmhouse!

Top left - right: The dining room where we had our meals, the dining room/kitchen on the 2nd floor, the living room

Middle left - right: Stairs leading to the attic, living room cupboard, little seat in living room

Bottom left - right: Front views of the house, side view

We had a healthy breakfast of yoghurt, hot chocolate, and fresh milk from the cows out in the fields! The ladies ate leisurely while the "garang" hubbies went for an early morning jog up the rolling hills.

The last we saw of them around the bend closest to the house, they were still going strong, running at a respectable pace. However, no one knows what happened after that. They claimed to have run all the way to a hotel at the top of the hill and even shouted at us from there, hoping that we would hear the echo.

My guess is that they probably walked round the bend and rested for 30min while out of our sight. Hehe...

The "twins" having breakfast!

(They were decked out in identical togs, bought from the same shop!)

While Terelle and I were having a nap in the early afternoon; I was still trying to shake off my cold, she was just being lazy...the rest were having a roaring good time at the cook out. It was a true blue barbeque with a blazing fire and chunks and chunks of succulent meat on the roast, as the pictures testify. I was really sorry to have missed out on this...sigh...

Hubby testing out his natural insulation, wearing just a sleeveless top and shorts in 10degree celcius. However, he slinked back to the house to throw on a thick pullover in the end. So much for the spare tyre...

We basically just revelled in our surroundings and idled the day away. If only we could have such nice weather back home!

At the end of the day, we spotted a bizzare scenario in the kitchen.

Kara: *scratch scratch*

Terelle: Oh my goodness?! What are you doing!!

Terelle: Im so sorry, although you are my best friend, ill have to book you for flashing!

Terelle: Oh shucks, its a flashlight! I thought i had brought my electronic summons machine out!

Kara: Book away! Im a baby, i can get away with anything!
